FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do we get started?

We start with your product.  What size is it?  How many of each size or type will be displayed?  How is the product best viewed?  Does it hang from a hook or sit on a shelf?  Will it need to be secured or locked? Will the product vary and require flexible merchandising?

What kind of display do you recommend?

Creative options are many.  Displays can sit on the floor or on a countertop, hang on a wall or be placed against a wall.  They can rotate or roll on casters.  They can be modular to enable expansion or be custom designed to a specific retailer’s requirements.  They can be flexible to hold various products or designed for only a particular product.  Good design ideas often suggest themselves when product requirements, store placement requirements, and aesthetic requirements or “image” are known.

Can you show me design ideas?

With information on your needs and desires, we would suggest designs and materials for your review and acceptance prior to proceeding to prototype.

How long do prototypes require?

Generally about two weeks is required to manufacture a prototype.   Complex displays or displays requiring materials not readily available will likely take longer.

How many do I have to order?

The best value is obtained with order quantities 100 or greater.

How long does production take?

Production lead-time is generally about six working weeks from the order date.  Lead-time does fluctuate depending on business conditions or availability of materials for your display.  An actual lead-time is quoted based on conditions at time of order placement.

What are the costs?

The design process costs you nothing – we will provide ideas, suggestions, and drawings at no cost to earn your business.  Prototypes generally cost 2 ˝ to 3 times the quoted or estimated production run price.  The difference between the production price and prototype cost is credited upon invoicing of a production order so if an order is ultimately placed the prototype cost is the equivalent of a production display.  Production display cost depends on the design and quantity – the higher the quantity or more economical the design the lower the cost, and vice versa.

How does shipping work?

Displays can be shipped in bulk upon completion via a carrier of your choice or we can arrange the shipping for you.  Displays can be held in our warehouse and drop shipped via UPS or common carrier at additional cost.

Should my display be KD or Assembled?

KD displays have the advantage of being more resistant to shipping damage and less costly to ship by truck.  Larger displays are better candidates for KD shipment than small displays that are compact to begin with.  Some retailers insist upon assembled displays while others do not.  Many factors may influence your display decision.  We specialize in KD displays and are proud of our abilities to design your display and draw assembly instructions to nearly eliminate assembly confusion.  In the event a question does arise we provide a toll free number on the instruction sheet and supply assistance directly to your customer.
