POP Display Prototype Design Process < Return to the Creative Design Process Unlike other display companies, Phillips Enterprises does not simply view a prototype as a "mock up" of what the real thing might look like if produced. We feel that this step in the display development process is one of the most important. It is during this step where formal display engineering happens and where all design elements and concepts become reality. Our goal is for each prototype display to be an exact replica of what we intend to manufacture in production. This allows the customer to perform adequate merchandising and testing prior to final approval. For this reason, each prototype order is internally handled the same as a production order would be. Our engineering and design department determines the final construction of each display prototype and how to implement all design features. Electronic blueprint files are generated for all component parts as well as a materials list ensuring that all actual materials will be used in it's creation. We will even prepare graphics, logos, assembly instructions, etc so that each prototype display is as accurate as possible. | Initial POP Display Prototype Sketch with Detail Commentary | POP Display Prototype Sketch Showing Merchandise | 3D Virtual Rendering of Sketch with Design Software | Actual Photograph of Constructed POP Display Prototype |
